July 6, 2010 – Albertans are embracing the flexibility and convenience of online education more than ever as huge growth in registration numbers released by eCampusAlberta shows. Alberta’s online education consortium of post-secondary institutions recorded 12,960 course registrations during the 2009/10 academic year (ending June 30), surpassing the 10,000 registrations milestone for the first time. Registrations are up 38 per cent over the previous year’s 9,414, the sixth consecutive year of annual growth of 29 per cent or more. More
