eCampusAlberta’s 2010/11 Annual Report and Fast Facts detail the consortium’s continuing leadership and success in the delivering online education across Alberta

Highlights include:

• registrations reached another record high, climbing to 16,599, a 27 per cent increase over the previous year

• 9,154 unique learners were enrolled, an increase of 25 per cent compared with last year’s 7,299

• 55 Alberta communities saw their first-ever registration, bringing the total to 446 Alberta communities represented to date
   
• Alberta-North and eCampusAlberta merged with the aim of combining operations to reach more learners

• Athabasca University was welcomed as the sixteenth member of the consortium
