The Diploma in Criminal Justice – Policing consists of two years of study in areas ranging from criminal law, procedural law and the criminal justice system to multiculturalism, psychology and criminology. This diploma is designed to meet the needs of policing professionals by providing students with hands-on-experience in important areas, such as interviewing, report writing, note taking and investigative techniques.
Students benefit from the 40 years of experience Lethbridge College has in providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in policing. Program courses are taught by instructors with many years of police experience.
The Criminal Justice(Policing) Diploma is entirely available online, as well as taught on campus at Lethbridge College. The courses available through eCampusAlberta together with the remaining required courses can also be accessed through the Lethbridge College website. Graduates of the diploma program can enter directly into the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Arts in Justice Studies at Lethbridge College (also available entirely online or on campus).
