I Want to be an Online Student

eCampusAlberta provides you with the opportunity to learn online at times that are convenient for you. Course delivery is structured students are expected to complete courses within defined timeframes.

Courses typically run in 16-week blocks and course delivery can take place in a variety of formats. Some courses are entirely online while others are online with some components delivered on campus. Most courses will require students to attend a final exam in person.

All programs offered through eCampusAlberta are accredited by Alberta Advanced Education and Technology.

"I had just been accepted into the full-time program to become a Hospital Unit Clerk at Bow Valley College when I unexpectedly found out I was expecting a baby. Because I would be staying at home with my baby when he was born and had decided not to work for at least a year after he was born, I chose to decline my acceptance. Then I noticed that there was a part-time online option for the same program.

This was perfect for me. I am able to stay at home and raise my baby and learn at the same time. It gives me something to do during the day, and stimulates my mind. And now, when I’m ready to go back to work, I will already have my Hospital Unit Clerk certification."
